Okay, here we go. Christmas is just around the corner, time to watch some Christmas movies to get in the holiday spirit. I know it's 3 months away, but these are classic movies. So without further adieu, here are my top 5 Christmas Movies.

Here we go, who doesn't love the 80's? I love it, you love it, VH1 loves it. So here are our favorite 80's movies, and the years, so you know we are for real.

The rules for my list are movies that hold up. That even now I could watch over and over, and not necessarily just ones that I loved when I first watched them. So because of that, here are a few honorable mentions.

It's been awhile--- Top 5 saddest movies

I know I know, it's been awhile. Thanks so much for the comments and your input. Dad, The Godfather is classic, honestly that might have been on my list, but really, I totally forgot about it. Josh, Kill Bill has some great death scenes, but I did put in some pulp fiction. Jen, way to keep it on the nose with The Crow. Poor Brandon Lee, he did die in real life, but honestly, I hated that movie, so that's why I didn't put it on my list. Keep your responses coming. Top 5 Saddest Movies:

Now we did this list awhile ago, and I'll be honest, I lost Mel's list, so this will just be mine. Some of these post's will just be my list. Mel and I have slacked off our countdowns so here it goes.

5: Legends of the Fall--Poor Brad Pitt, man he had a tough break during that movie. So sad.
4: Untamed Heart--Jess, Mandi Lunt, and I were watching this movie, crying our eyes out and Dad came running out of the room to see what happened. Yeah it was just a movie. Sorry.
3: Marley & Me--If you didn't cry at this movie, you have no heart. The saddest movie I've seen in awhile.
2: Armageddon--First, Bruce Willis dies, sad enough, but his good-bye to his daughter is heartbreaking.
1: Life is Beautiful--Such a great movie. I tear up just thinking about it. Such a tragic and wonderful movie.

Top 5 Heroes. Top 5 Villains

Alright, here it goes our first topic. First of all let me introduce Melody to you. Here she is all cute and stuff. Mel is one of my favorite friends, and I love working with her. We differ in opinions on a lot of things. She loves her cowboys and country music, and well.....I don't. Give me my indie music, and non-cowboys any day. So it was fun for this first time to see what she would put in her list. Her lists were hilarious, and surprising. So without further adieu I give you our top 5 villains and heroes.

So crazy that we both picked Atticus Finch, and it was the same order. Who knew. Honestly I had a hard time with my heroes. I could probably replace the last two if I thought a little more about it, but for right now my list is solid.

A Change Of "Scenery"

Okay everybody here's the deal; I haven't been blogging for a long time, because quite frankly my life is pretty boring, and I don't feel I have anything exciting to share. But an idea came to me, something I've been thinking about for awhile so I decided to finally do something about it, so here it goes. Anybody that knows me, knows that I LOVE movies. I love watching them, and I love criticizing them. I love talking about them, and I love listening to people talk to them. Because of this reason I have fallen in love with a few podcasts that I habitually listen to. The first is Doug loves Movies. It's Doug Benson, the hilarious comedians podcast. He has guests on that discuss movies and such, but more importantly he plays movie related games, namely, The Leonard Maltin game, and build a title. I won't go into detail, because if you're a movie lover you should definitely check this out. Subscribe to it on itunes, it's free so no worries, and enjoy. The second is a new favorite of mine called The Film Vault. Bryan Bishop, who was on the Adam Carolla radio show, co-hosts with Anderson Cowan, who I believe is a radio engineer on Loveline. This podcast is awesome because each podcast they pick a topic (such as best villain's, war movies, worst endings--you get the picture) and they pick their top 5 movies. So they'll count down in their opinion their top 5 movies with horrible endings.
I love listening to this, because I always think what my choices would be. I was telling my good friend and co-worker Melody about it, and we decided we're going to forge an awesome club, (membership 2) and we are going to pick topics and count down our top 5 in these topics. cough, cough, sniff, sniff

I'm alive....Barely. I got in big trouble today by my family because they haven't heard from me and were worried. Why you ask, well I rang in 2010 with pneumonia. Yeah, kind of sucks. I started getting this hacking cough on Saturday and Tuesday I went to the doctors and after 2 breathing treatments and a chest x-ray left with $50 worth of prescriptions and a diagnosed case of pneumonia. Not good. I spent the rest of the week in bed and still a week later I'm miserable. I've never experienced anything like this. I'm not as congested anymore, but I've never been weaker in my life. I've taken more time off of work from this then with the past 3 surgeries on my hands combined. I hope I feel on the mend soon, but I must say it makes me grateful for my health when I have it. Please everybody take care of yourself, don't get this nasty bug, I'd hate anyone to have to suffer through this like I did.
